Where it stands

Only the United States moved its share in 2024, on 10 December, into a World Bank fund; the EU paid its first €3bn on 10 January 2025, and the UK and Canada their first instalments in March 2025. By 13 November 2025 the Commission counted €30.9bn of the loans paid out. Each lender’s share has its own card, and only those cards count in the totals and the charts.

What has happened

  1. Promised. G7 leaders agree in Apulia to make about $50bn available to Ukraine by the end of the year
  2. Delivering. The United States moves its $20bn share into the World Bank’s fund for Ukraine evidence

About the cost

About $50bn as worded (about €46.8bn at the ECB rate of 1.0686 dollars to the euro on 14 June 2024). No range is given here: each lender’s share is on its own card, so the money is not counted twice.
